現代のように軽く丈夫で優れた化学繊維などない時代に、ワークウェアとして活躍した衣料には限られた素材同志を工夫して用いることでハードワークに耐えうる耐久性にまで鍛え上げられてきました。
ジーンズの各部位を補強するリベットもその一つです。
ストライクゴールドで採用しているリベット（隠しリベットを除く）は、オリジナルで製作した鉄製の打ち抜きリベットとなります。
凹部、凸部ともに鉄製で製作されたこの鉄製のリベットは、凹側には銅メッキが施され、凸側にはメッキを施さずクリアの塗装のみを施しています。
この一見、不思議と思える凹凸部ごとの仕様の違いには、長年の着用によるゴールの違いがあります。
着目したのは、ビンテージウェアに見られる銅メッキが施された鉄製リベットのエイジングプロセスです。
現代とは違い、当時の鉄は安価で、その鉄を使ったリベットを補強としており、錆を防ぐために銅のメッキが施されていました。
しかし、当時の金属を成膜させるメッキ技術は、現代から比べると非常に大きな耐久性の差があり、幾度の着用の中でメッキが剥がれ、中の鉄素材が錆びてしまうことが通常でした。
ストライクゴールドでは、こうした鉄素材特有のエイジングに強く感化されたことから、このパーツを注視し、答えを探したのです。
当時の銅メッキが施された鉄製リベットでは、、この「錆びる」という現象が起きることで、表面のデニム生地やポケットスレーキ（ポケットの袋布）のリベットの周辺が、錆により生地がほのかに茶色く滲み、絶妙な魅力を醸し出しています。また、銅のメッキが剥がれず、錆びずに残った部分も鈍くくすんだ艶を放ちながら鎮座しているのです。
この「錆びる」を表現するためには、現代の高度過ぎるメッキ技術ではメッキ自体が剥がれず、ただの銅メッキされた銅色のリベットになってしまいます。
そこで、凹部は、ジーンズの表面ビジュアルを飾る重要なパーツとして、長く着用した後も銅色を残し、それが傷や摩擦によって鈍くくすむようにと銅メッキを施しています。
また凸部では、「錆びる」ためにリベットを鉄の無垢な表情をそのまま生かすためにクリア塗装のみが施されています。こうすることで、ジーンズ裏面で見えるポケットスレーキ（ポケットの袋布）のリベットの周辺への錆と、その滲みが味わえるのです。
この鉄製リベットの存在感は、目立たずとも決して侮ることの出来ない殊勲のディテールなのです。

At The Strike Gold, we were strongly inspired by the aging peculiar to iron materials, so we looked closely at these parts and searched for an answer.
With copper-plated iron rivets at that time, this phenomenon of "rusting" occurred, causing the denim fabric on the surface and the area around the rivets of the pocket sleek (pocket cloth bag) to bleed slightly brown due to rust, exquisite charm is created.
In addition, the copper plating does not come off, and the remaining parts that do not rust also give off a dull luster.
In expressing this "rust", the plating does not come off with modern over-advanced plating technology, and it becomes just a copper-plated copper-colored rivet.
Therefore, as an important part to decorate the surface visuals of jeans, the concave parts are copper-plated so that they retain their copper color even after being worn for a long time and give off dull luster due to scratches and friction.
In addition, only clear paint is applied to the convex part to keep the innocent look of iron due to "rust".
By doing this, you can enjoy the rust and bleeding around the rivets of the pocket sleek (pocket cloth bag) that can be seen on the back of the jeans.
The presence of this iron rivet is a meritorious detail that can never be underestimated, even if it is not noticeable.
